Pigmentation may lighten or fade significantly, but ongoing sun exposure can cause it to return. Annual maintenance treatment is recommended.

Dr Agata Kesy is a skin cancer doctor with advanced training in dermatology. She brings the science and safety of medical practice to laser skin treatments, helping patients feel confident their care is in expert hands.
The clinic philosophy is based on:
honesty — some conditions are not suitable for laser treatment, some will return after UV exposure and some are stubborn requiring multiple sessions
safety — we will not proceed with laser treatment on any lesion or skin condition that is suspicious for skin cancer or dermatological issue

The Process
Dr Kesy will discuss your concerns at your initial consult and give you an indication of session duration, frequency, healing downtime and cost. Most treatments are minimally invasive and take between 5 days and 4 weeks to heal, depending on the treatment and individual variations. All pigment treatments include complimentary numbing cream and aftercare cream. Mole removal is performed under injected local anaesthetic, although some patients tolerate the procedure comfortably without anaesthetic.
Consultations can only be booked online and are performed on Saturdays only.
The Cost
Prices vary depending on the area treated and the number of sessions required. Treatment costs include local anaesthetic where required, numbing cream and aftercare cream.
As a guide:
Large facial mole or venous lake: $500
Pigmentation – both hands: $900 for 2 sessions
Whole-face pigmentation: $1500 for up to 3 1-hour sessions
Other benign lesions e.g. milia, seborrhoeic keratoses: $250 per 15 min
Your individual treatment plan and estimated cost will be discussed during your consultation.
All prices include GST.
